Math Quiz Online update 5 is out!

📅 15 July 2022

Intro

Hello everyone,

Today is the big day of the big update of the game with some exciting brand new features and some big changes to other features that are already in the game and I hope you enjoy them where ever you play the game and enjoy the new update.

Updates to Missions

Also have updated the "save lives" mission because of a bit of confusion from the YouTuber StellarDakota (featured on the website) who didn't know what it meant in his let's play of the game. I also sorted the annoying infinite points claim bug in the missions menu that caused a lot of issues (and exposed) with the points system and made it unfair. Also the icon has been updated to look like a trophy.

Changes to Gameplay

rn

With a small charge to the extra special unlockable endless challenge mode to make it more balanced for the gameplay-related earning points system while playing the game (To unlock you must have played 15 games and earn a total of 100 points).

rn

It will also the new "confetti on win" feature as seen on our Facebook page and on YouTube a while back and this will really make getting the right answer more fun (and rewarding) and with added new sounds to it as well (maybe more coming soon).

Guide Book and UI

rn

Here is some of the things to small to have section so i'm putting them here. Also just some random other UI changes, which you probably won't notice unless it's a big change but it still something to improve the game. Also added a new animated background image of clouds to the game replacing the old still image.

Behind the Scenes

I have also been trying my best to reduce the size of the resources that the games uses by compressing things like styles and scripts (minified them) and images, including preloading important file to make the game start faster and now also now caches the files to help with slow internet connections. Also

Debug Flags

rnI also add some quick debug flags so you can test new features or toggles before they come out in full, and have some fun at the same time, here is a round-up of the ones so far. Just place place the flags after the ? (parameters) in the address bar.
